A Nissan Maxima was speeding east on Golf Road about 7:10 a.m. near Washington Street when it rear-ended a Ford Taurus, according ot Cook County sheriff’s office spokeswoman Sophia Ansari.
The crash forced the Taurus onto the sidewalk and into a bus stop, where it hit the 24-year-old woman, Ansari said. She was taken to a hospital and her condition was stabilized.
The driver of the Nissan was later identified as Ted Ramos, 47, of Glenview.
