Shortly before 10 p.m., the motorcycle collided with a vehicle that was turning left in the 3200 block of North Avenue, according to Chicago Police. Witnesses told investigators that the motorcycle’s driver, a 38-year-old man, ran a red light.
Nicole Villavicencio, 28, of the Cragin neighborhood, was ejected from the bike during the crash, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Villavicencio and the motorcyclist were both taken Illinois Masonic Medical Center for treatment of their accident injuries. She was pronounced dead there. The motorcyclist was listed in serious condition.
